From emergencies in the UK and around the world, to military deployments in theatres such as Afghanistan, and in commercial, construction and mobile fleet service operations throughout the UK, Aireshelta supports emergency responders, armed forces and companies with tough, reliable, easily assembled shelters that help save lives and deliver essential support to communities in crisis and organisations requiring fast, flexible shelter systems.
Aireshelta International is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of specialised inflatable shelters which, because of their sealed beam construction, avoid the problems which complicated pole systems, missing parts and excessive weight can cause when teams are attempting to deploy and assemble shelters in a hurry.
The company has been providing shelters to a wide variety of emergency response organisations, armed forces and companies in the UK and around the world for many years. At Fukushima, for example, Aireshelta decontamination units are still being used by crews working to decommission the destroyed reactor.
In the UK, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has an Aireshelta shelter unit which attaches to the side of its new state-of-the-art mobile incident command unit, thereby expanding substantially the working area available to command staff.
Aireshelta also supplies a comprehensive range of shelters for motorsport teams, ranging from the unique BloodhoundSSC team which will attempt to set a new world land speed record faster than the speed of sound in 2015 to individual race teams competing in revival and other motorsport events.
Aireshelta’s highly experienced team, comprising designers, manufacturing staff and customer support personnel, can create shelters (and entire shelter systems comprising many individual units, for any role, and operating environment.
Constant Air or Sealed Beam?
That is the question, or, perhaps the question is, “What is the difference between the two types?”
Constant Air Aireshelta
The simple answer is,as the name CONSTANT AIR suggests, the conventional Aireshelta requires a constant air supply in order for the Aireshelta to remain inflated. This also means that a constant power supply is required. This can either be from a mains supply or generator.
Sealed Beam Aireshelta
The Sealed Beam Aireshelta is constructed from a continuous tube of Neoprene material, constructed in to the shape of the Aireshelta. Once inflated from a small 240v or 110v inflation blower the inflation blower is disconnected, the inflation valve automatically closes therefore allowing the Sealed Beam Aireshelta to remain inflated without the need for constant inflation.
Sealed Beam Construction
Sealed beam construction gives shelters greater strength in all weathers than flimsier shelter systems, and wide standing pads and water-filled side skirts provide strong anchoring. Once assembled, sealed beams give shelters the robustness required to withstand bad weather. Unlike fiddly and complicated metal pole systems, which can be heavy, complicated to put together and prone to having parts go missing, sealed beam systems from Aireshelta only require a pump to inflate the rigid support structure in a matter of minutes, allowing teams to get on with their work as soon as possible.
Linkability Each Aireshelta can be used as a modular unit: Complex applications have been simplified by using the Airesheltas in this way. For example, each operational unit occupies its own Aireshelta – the linkability facilitates two-way communication and encourages teamwork.
Wide variety of colours and patterns Airesheltas can be manufactured in a wide variety of colours and patterns that reflect specific user requirements (e.g. military camouflage, jungle and desert).
